Unlike fine art which is a natural gift people are born with, design can be learned from your daily activities, it requires talent to become a sculptor but it only requires you special training to become a mason. anyone can build their own house as long as they put in enough time and resources to it. Design is a vast universe with so many branches and subunits that anyone from any background can become a part of.
